Brags--News about the dogs!

Start of a New Year!! 2011

Last year went great for the boys. Stitch placed in groups several more times, won several breeds and ended the year as the #6 mini bull terrier. For his career he has placed in the top 10 mini bulls 3/4 years showing, is a multiple group winning, and mulitple group placing mini bull terrier! Not bad for my first show dog that I bought as a pet! But now he is retiring. He will just be showing at a few select shows, specialties, and as a Jr's dog! I can't totally take him out of the ring, cause he just loves it to much!!!

Toby was shown very limitedly last year, but did manage a couple of big best of breeds and some decent looks from the groups.  He is starting his specials career this year, but I am taking it slow. He is still a young dog and I don't want to burn him out to quickly. But look for him at shows in the NW. He is a beutiful dog and we look forward to him doing well.

And Congratulations to all the Mini Bulls who have done so well this year! When I started showing Stitch there were usually only one or two other dogs to compete with, and now the breed has grown, and we are getting so many nice dogs out there! Way to go all you Mini Bull oweners!! It's the best breed around if you ask me, and it is nice to see so many others that feel the same way I do and who are working hard to improve the health and quality of the breed! Here's to a great new year for all of us!!!!

June 26th & 27th---Clackamas Kennel Club--Canby, Or

Stitch showed both days at this show.  He showed great for Jackie on Saturday, but alas no pretty ribbons, but congratulations to BlackJack for taking breed that day.  Ruby, Stitch's daughter (Nederes New Venture at Draymia) went Reserve winners bitch, and his grandson (Its all about da nuse AZ) went winners dog. We had a great turn out of mini bulls and it was a nice day.

Sunday Stitch went Best of Breed AND Group 4! (picture to come), Ruby got reserve again, and his grandson winner's dog! The weather was fine, and we had a great time hanging out with friends! I am so proud of my dogs, and their offspring. It is so much fun to see how the next generation just gets better! Can't wait for the rest of the year!

January 2010-June2010

Stitch has been showing most of the year, and has won many breeds at several shows in the northwest, including Puyallup, Seattle, Albany, and Kalamath Falls.  He has been doing wonderfully and I am very proud of him.

Toby has been shown limitedly this year and has had several compliments. He is still young so we are letting him grow up some before we speial him too much. But am having a lot of fun with him for sure.

Our new addittion Elliott had his first show ever at the Australian Shepherd national at Purnia Farms back in Missouri.  He turned 6 months the day of sweepstakes. He got some good hard looks and showed really well. He has a lot of potential, but there were a lot of nice puppies in his class!

Continue to look for us at shows around the Northwest.

Also there has been a new Mini Bull Terrier club started for here in the northwest! It is the Nortwest Mini Bull Terrier Club of America.  Check our links page to find it. You don't have to own a mini to join and we are doing lots of fun activities around the area.  Be sure to go and take a look at it.

November 12, 13, 14 & 15, 2009--Roseburg, Or Shows

Stitch took Group 1 on November 13th, his second time for the year, and was in the running for best in show! He did a fabulous job and the judge liked him very much!  It was very exciting! Pictures to come!

Toby Tyler finished his champion title with style on November 14th, taking another 3 point major! He is Champion at 8 months of age!! I just love this good looking pup and can't believe that he is finished already! Thank you again Gayle and Dick Denman and Daren and Tiffanie Gisseman for this handsom boy!! Pictures to come!---Also Toby's litter sister Bindi finished the next day on November 15th in Arizona! How exciting that they both got their championships on the same weekend!  Way to go Gayle!!

Cinderella got her first point and went Best of Opposite Sex to her dad, Stitch, on November 15th.  The start to my next champion! All in all not a bad weekend!!

Mini Bull Nationals and Specialty shows 2009

Mini Bull nationals were located in San Jose this past weekend of October 16, 17, and 18. I packed up Stitch, Toby and my friend Jackie and flew down there just hoping to have a good time. Boy did we. Toby, Gandalf's Didgeridoo calls for Adventures took Winners dog from the 6-9 month puppy class for a 5 point major AND Best Opposite Sex for the National! I couldn't believe it. I stood their in shock for the longest time, not really sure if I should believe it! And Stitch, Nederes' Adventures with Stitch, got an Award of Merit. Then for the specialty shows Toby took winners dog again for a 4 point major, and Stitch 2 more awards of merit.  It was a great weekend and dogs did so well!  Thank you to Evolutions kennel, and Gayle Denman Pew for Toby, and Nedere's Mini bulls for Stitch. And thank you to Jackie Ross, my handler, friend and teacher for showing both boys and to the whole team (you know who you are!!) for making this weekend happen!
